Well arriving all the way from Australia to a comfy clean and welcoming place was great, I have enjoyed my stays there and highly recommend it to friends. No fuss and breakfast is delicious, quick and easy in the lovely dining room.
Old fashioned charming place in Chelsea. Thank you.

I have stayed at Leo House numerous times since 2000 and consider it my "home away from home." Remember--Leo House is NOT a hotel. It is a traveler's guest house run as a ministry! The accommodations are indeed simple and spartan, but the rooms are clean and the staff quite competent. The breakfast is wonderful. I usually describe Leo House as like a European boutique hotel. Regarding reservations, the demand is so great for accommodations, that it is sometimes difficult

I have stayed at the Leo House between 8-10 times (I have lost count), and have never had a problem. The place is managed very well, the staff are courteous and accommodating, and the morning breakfasts are fantastic. The rooms are small and spartan, but that's part of the charm and is why The Leo House is able to keep the costs low for its guests. During one or two of my visits, I had to switch rooms, and the front desk staff were very helpful on the days I had to make the switch.

I have been staying at the Leo House since 1975. The staff has always been wonderful and I count my self blessed to have met the sisters there who always made me feel welcome. I have many warm memories of my stays. My family and friends stay there when they return to the city and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC. God bless all of the staff there. If your score went higher than 5 I would give you a 10
