Gulf War syndrome or Gulf War illness is a chronic and multi-symptomatic disorder affecting returning military veterans of the 1990–1991 Persian Gulf War.
Vera Roddy will share her journey of active service in the Gulf War and how she became an advocate for veterans’ rights. She will provide us with a picture of how far the cause of Gulf War veterans has come, as well as the work still to be done to advance it.
