As you spend the retreat week creating and reflecting on Francis’ icon and his writings and prayers, you will get to know his life and times and learn why, among all the world religions, he is one of the most revered humans to have lived.

Event Leaders: Drazen Dupor and Pat Shutts
Training/Lineage: Co- facilitator, Pat Shutts is a retreat leader and spiritual director. With training in Pastoral Studies, spiritual guidance, and bereavement ministry, Pat brings her gift of compassionate listening to companion seekers. Pat is a lay covenant companion with the Wheaton Franciscans and a member of the Sophia Zen Sangha.
Co-facilitator, Drazen Dupor, a Yugoslavian artist and iconographer, studied the art of icon painting in Thessalonica, Greece, at the K.N. Georgiadis School of Art. Over the last twenty years, Drazen has been creating works in his own art studios in Tessalonica and since 2003, in Madison, Wisconsin.
