"From the moment of arrival at Good Commons you know you are in competent and welcoming hands. The grounds and the house are everything you'd want in a Vermont retreat experience, with Tesha and her chef at the helm. Tesha delivers a rare level of warmth and her desire for her guests to have a great time at the retreat house is evident in every detail. We'll never forget steaming music to various rooms, the crackling fire pit and, of course, the secret marshmallow drawer in kitchen!"

"The Good Commons retreat experience never ceases to amaze us! We have brought numerous large yoga retreat groups to the center over the past years, and our dedicated students have always left with happy hearts, full bellies and wonderful memories of their time away. Tesha as the consummate host/owner is right by his side—and as a team they have cultivated a spirited and dedicated following."

“A highlight of our travels every year is one or two long weekends at Good Commons, enjoying Tesha's enthusiastic hospitality and Matthew's creative cooking. They are an ideal combination of inspired host and chef, who make everything seem so effortless (even a transportation disaster and a devastating flood!). Guests are constantly begging for recipes and details of their next weekend event.”
