Celebrate Earth Day 2022 with a max of 7 participants April 17-24, 2022 in the rural rolling hills of mid-south Tennessee. Will start the retreat with Forest Therapy nature immersion and experience life a little bit slower for a week.

Mission/Lineage: It's all about the TASTE! Find inspiration and nourishment – literally and metaphorically – as we explore food and enrichment related to food/sustenance. Be re-introduced to your senses with a Forest Therapy guided walk that will start you off on this retreat nature immersion that also includes gardening, cooking, crafting, pottery, exploring, discovering, making, experimenting, and a healthy dose of fresh air, good nights resting, inspiring landscape, and fun animals for a dose of pet therapy.

This seven day retreat includes lodging in a comfortable cozy space and each person should have their own room. Additionally all food, program fees, and supplies for pottery are included. Transportation may be arranged from Nashville International Airport BNA upon request.

This retreat will introduce you to making by hand and encourage you to think about objects in a new way. From learning about food and gardening instead of packaged items, maybe you'll leave with a renewed sense of reducing a footprint means. We'll spend a few hours at a thrift market and consider what buying used or upcycled products can have on the environment.

She has walked away from academic walls into the rural landscape to help others learn how to go slow in a unique way. Housing: During this creative retreat, guests will have a private room in either the Camp's Lemon Lodge, the Raspberry Residency House, or the camphaus. Each room is creatively decorated. Some rooms are an ensuite. Meals are included in this special retreat, but not in general unless otherwise organized.

Travel Info: We are rural for a reason. BNA - Nashville International Airport is the closest and best option for air travel. For travel by car, we are two hours southwest of Nashville and can coordinate pick-up/drop-off upon request for a small additional charge. There are no other public transit options.
