Hope Springs is a Retreat Center in southern Ohio's Appalachian foothills providing intentional space for mindful, creative and healthy private group retreats. Hope Springs also sponsors profoundly transformational workshops on topics which include women's issues, empowered leadership, and personal growth.
Hope Springs is nationally and internationally known for its hospitality, community-style warmth, and memorably delicious meals. We are a full service retreat center providing indoor accommodations for up to 30 people, with camping options for larger groups.
Besides the beauty of its secluded forested setting, what makes Hope Springs special are its outstanding facilities. The Studio is an octagonal 1500 sq. ft. building with exquisitely finished maple hardwood floors, high skylights, and spacious ceilings - evoking a reverent and tranquil response from guests. The Farmhouse is warm, homelike building that provides housing and small group gathering space. Our Dining Room is colorful and welcoming, and offers buffet-style dining as well as additional restroom facilities for large gatherings.
Hope Springs has a warm, community feel and artistic ambience throughout its complex. The outdoor hot tub is available at all time for our guests' enjoyment.
Visitors feel spiritually supported by the natural spaces offered in the outdoor walking labyrinth and the woodland cathedral that beckons outside their door.

Any visit to Hope Springs is a restorative experience. The atmosphere is calming - the food is creative and delicious - the staff is caring and attentive - and the rooms are comfortable and well-equipped. I can't wait to go back...in fact I think that I'm going to create a retreat for my friends so that I can share this place with the important people in my life. HURRY, it's going to get VERY POPULAR.

Hope Springs is a beautiful and wonderfully peaceful getaway within driving distance of my home in Cincinnati. I have visited for three separate events in the last three years, and each time I find myself raving about the food--so healthful, so delicious, it's incredible. The setting, too--with a labyrinth, paths through the woods, beautiful perennial gardens and (my favorite) a frog-filled pond--made my experiences consistently restorative and enjoyable. I tell everyone I know about this gem located so close to Cincinnati that seems to draw people from all over.

I stayed there recently. The room I stayed in was marginal, but very clean, comfortable and acceptable. The reason it was marginal was because it wan't as nicely appointed as, say, the Meridien in Hamburg. Three things to commend Hope Springs: (1) the food (2) the food and (3) the program. Great conference facilities, great campground, great location, nothing could really be better. Unless they had a 48" television in every guest room.

As a teacher who is always on the lookout for the' just right 'Retreat Center, I have stopped looking since I found Hope Springs many years ago. Its remote-from -the-urban-life location is a boon. And its intimate connection with the Earth and the Great Earthworks at Serpent Mound is far more precious than immediate access to the social media, although there is wireless connection. The food is excellent as are the rooms and amenities. The staff- well, the staff has no equal anywhere Ive been.NO exaggeration.

I have organized and led the women's retreat for my church at Hope Springs in 2009 and 2010. We are definitely returning again this year. Hope Springs has provided a nurturing setting for us to do our spiritual work. The energy of the land and buildings is amazing. The staff is attentive to our every need. The food is sumptuous and delicious; prepared with love and gratitude. The rooms are lovely. The Spirit House is perfect for our morning meditation and for a fire circle in the evening. Our church has been to several other retreat centers over the past 10 years and we know we have finally found a home in Hope Springs. We will most likely have 30 women attending this year. There is a lot of excitement about us returning to such a spiritual place to deepen our relationship with the Divine.

The accommodations at Hope Springs are comfortable and beautiful. The food is the best I've had at any retreat center I've attended. The land at Hope Springs is so beautiful, and creates an amazing space for deep personal work.
I have brought several retreats to Hope Springs over the past 10 years, and each time the staff has been extremely attentive to the needs of my group. I highly recommend Hope Springs.

I have attended several workshops at Hope Springs and each one has made me want more. The food is delicious, the rooms personal and individually decorated, the staff warm and responsive. When arriving, I breath a big sigh of relaxation and leave carrying peace with me.
