The bathrooms are shared: two upstairs and one downstairs. Each floor has a shared living room, and there is a shared kitchen on the ground floor. We also have a one-room guest cabin. Dear Sisters, I thank you so very much for your gracious hospitality. This has been the best food I ever experienced on a retreat!!! And all the organic options in the refrigerator are astounding! The guest house is delightful and each room's view nourishes the heart. May our dear Lord continue to bless you each profoundly with His grace and mercy and meet every need abundantly.

Dear, sweet sisters of Transfiguration Monastery, I don't feel that my words of gratitude to you will begin to scratch the surface, but I want to thank you for receiving me with such kindness on such short notice. The few days I have spent here have been a lifeline for me. .(Description of a major personal loss has been omitted)...To be alone and quiet, to mourn and be comforted, to have the opportunity to hear the reassuring voice,...Thank you for all you have done. You are precious to me.

Thank you, dear Sisters, for opening your door to me at this blessed and holy place. Your hospitality, palpable everywhere, swept me in! What a grace to be with you at Mass and for the Office all through the day. And of course to celebrate together your feast day. I leave considerably refreshed. May God continue to bless your good work.

As I came down the stairs and turned the corner, I don't think I've ever seen anything so lovely as the sight of the four of you and a guest, sitting around the refectory table having a proper "tea". I am growing so fond of you, each and all, that I don't know what to say except to thank you for being.
