With 20 years experience, I offer you an uncommon opportunity for a private, customized single- or multi-day counseling retreat in the location of your choice. This is a uniquely intentional way to step out of your daily routine to focus time and attention on developing deeper insights into yourself while discovering better ways to cope with challenging situations. Together, we choose the location, setting and duration. With my blend of counseling and life coaching techniques, along with mindfulness instruction as a foundational practice, you receive my undivided attention as we work together to bring clarity and resilience to your life.

An intensive, personalized retreat is a highly effective platform for making the life changes you desire, while creating a foundation that supports your ongoing, inner work.

I have conducted personalized retreats with my clients in a wide range of environments: comfortable mountain homes, urban environments, luxury resorts, sailboats at sea, Alaska wilderness, and nearly everything in between. The activities we can do while working together include: sitting and talking quietly, walking casually in a beautiful place, sharing a meal, hiking a trail, and anything else that is conducive to our working deeply. Together, we create the agenda and choose the location(s) and activities. Alternatively, some clients prefer I first provide a recommended schedule with a recommended location(s), which I am happy to do.

Mission/Lineage: All of my approaches are natural extensions of the way I live my own life. I have explored the inner, spiritual world through religious and meditation practices, and through studying for prolonged periods in monasteries, meditation centers, and churches in various parts of the world.

Over my many years of experience as a meditator, private counselor and coach, mindfulness retreats have proven to be exceptionally effective in helping clients establish a mindfulness practice.

Average Cost: Since my retreats are private and customized in close collaboration with my clients, the cost depends on the location(s) chosen, any required travel, your desired accommodations, the duration of the retreat, and other details. I encourage you to contact me to discuss specific costs.

Travel Info: Although based near the White Mountains of New Hampshire, I am willing to travel to any location nationwide to conduct these retreats wherever you feel the most inspiration.

Some clients choose to stay near my office in New Hampshire, where we can meet throughout the day at my office, at your hotel, or at one of the many quiet, beautiful locations that surround the Franconia, NH region.

Alternatively, I often travel to locations that my clients and I decide together. I have lodged near where my clients live to meet in the familiar surroundings that they choose. I also provide outdoor retreat options where we decide on a location and/or activity as the framework for the retreat. As an experienced outdoorsman, I welcome outdoor retreats, such as while hiking, camping, sailing, mountaineering, skiing, or virtually any other outdoor activity.

What matters most is that we meet in an environment where you can devote focused, uninterrupted time, and which inspires you to work deeply.
