For our practice, the garden is a key component. Many people come to Dharma Gaia to learn about meditation and mindfulness, while others simply come for personal retreat, self-care, and a time to contemplate and be in nature.

We cannot say that Dharma Gaia is only a physical entity situated in time and space. It is true that one aspect is this physical address, a place with buildings, gardens, pond and gently swaying hammock. However, Dharma Gaia is also this moment - right now, right here...you reaching out in curiosity, the miracle of technology and our chance to offer you a lotus flower and a smile of human warmth and connection. Dharma Gaia welcomes retreatants in many capacities. Some come for Spiritual sanctuary, to rest and rejuvenate. Some come for specific retreats and practice periods to enjoy developing the Art of Mindful Living. All who come drink deeply from the tranquillity, the profound peace and beauty that emanates from this gentle oasis of aliveness. Throughout the year we offer regular retreats and specific practice periods of meditation and mindfulness. We offer support and the wisdom gained from our own practice and we encourage others to discover the deep calm and clarity of mindfulness practice through their own experience. The accommodation is simple, clean and comfortable. There are possibilities for individual chalets or to share in one of the single sex dormitories. Food is vegetarian, grown upon the land and organic as much as possible.
