Business, non-profit, art, yoga, family getaways, workshops, conferences -- retreat to our beautiful valley. Zigbone Farm Retreat includes an Eco-lodge, a handicapped accessible cabin as well as large meeting hall seating up to 130 people. We have used locally sourced green building materials including straw bale as well as wood, brick and stone recovered from a nearby barn. We have searched for the most energy efficient way to construct a retreat center that is warm and welcoming as well as environmentally sustainable. The retreat is attached to a functioning farm. We have goats, sheep and chickens as well as hoop house providing fresh vegetables in season. You can walk on our 100 acre farm, cook your own pizzas in our outdoor pizza oven, or rest on one of our many porches and patios. Wherever you are, you can enjoy the gorgeous views of the Harbaugh valley.

The price for the retreat $1000/day, which comes out to $40 per person. The retreat doesn't include meals. We encourage groups do make use of our great kitchen to cook their own food. For those that are culinary inclined, we work with a local caterer who sources from local producers as much as possible.

All new construction is made out of straw bale. The old construction is a log cabin attached to a brick house made from bricks produced at the farm 150 years ago. Every room has its own heating/cooling unit which is connected to a geothermal system. We have a highly sophisticated septic system that ensures clean waste water. We are set up to switch to solar energy when we can afford the installation. Our animals are free ranging and our vegetables produced without pesticides.
